This is a whale shark, the world’s biggest fish that we know of. I wish I could say that I took this while diving with the majestic creature. That is on my bucket list so hopefully one day, but I took this from the Ocean Voyager tunnel inside the Georgia Aquarium. This is a massive aquarium tank that houses several of these massive creatures. According to National Geographic, the whale shark can grow to be 40′ long and weigh more than 21 tons, yet it survives by consuming massive amounts of one of the smallest creatures, plankton.
