While wading through the shallow, crystal clear water’s of the Philippine Sea near Mactan Island, I came across a beautiful seashell just under the water’s surface. I like to collect things like shells and rocks when I am abroad so this looked like the perfect item to take home. I lifted the shell out of the water and this hermit crab emerged looking rather perturbed that I had disturbed him. With what appeared to be anger and very little fear, he flailed his arms and legs around bobbing in and out of his shell. I quickly snapped a few pics of him with his beautiful home and returned him to the sea floor.
