The remnants of light from the setting sun illuminate the clouds and reflect beautifully on the placid water along the edge of Green River. This is near the Green River Campground inside Dinosaur National Monument.
It’s a serene place to camp because of the water and the dark sky, except for when the silent night is broken by the humming of a RV’s generator. I really dislike camping near RVs, but on occasion it is the only option when one arrives late. This was the disappointing experience my wife and I had the night my we stayed inside the park’s campground. It’s a shame too because this would have been a perfect place to camp.
