The Piazza

This is the Piazza San Marco in Venice, Italy. The area has been the social, religious, and political hub of Venice for over 1200 years. It has even been referred to by some in history as, “the drawing room of Europe.” I find it especially beautiful at night after the majority of the city has gone to sleep and the pigeons no longer cover the Piazza.
