The Old Mill

The Old MillThis is the Old Mill at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, the largest campus in the world by acreage. The old waterwheel was constructed in 1930 and was used to grind corn grown on the property into cornmeal. The waterwheel’s claim to fame today is that it is featured on gravy packets made by Southeastern Mills.

Yes, very familiar with this campus and The Old Mill. A great place several years ago to take family pictures. This spot was one we chose to use as a background. At the time of our visit, the campus was full of beautiful deer grazing ever so close to our vehicles.
