This is the Negril Lighthouse on the island nation of Jamaica. It has stood like a sentinel watching over the coastal waters since 1894. For over 120 years this tower has helped ships steer clear of the rocks as they pass around the western most point of the Caribbean island. According to expedia.com, the prism was originally constructed in the “city of love,” Paris, France. For a small donation the keeper will give you a tour of the historic lighthouse.
