Summers bring color to Colorado’s high country. The wildflowers paint the mountains in beautiful yellow, blue, purple and red hues. This is the Castilleja Rhexifolia, better known as the Rose Paintbrush. This is a very common flower found all over Colorado’s subalpine landscape and can be found as early as mid-June and remains in bloom through much of August.
Beautiful flower. Appreciate your eye to detail and sharing with the rest of us. Please continue.
