I found this dried up Yucca husk of the beautiful Yucca Flower on a trail in Colorado Springs. I find that the husks have a certain amount of beauty to them. The Yucca plant was one of the most versatile plants to the Native Americans who called the southwestern U.S. home. They used it to make rope, shoes, clothing, medicine, soup, and much more. A park ranger in Mesa Verde National Park called it the Walmart of the Native Americans.
