I found this small cluster of beautiful purplish flowers along a trail in the Garden of the Gods park last July. In my haste, I almost passed it by and in truth I had. I missed it when I passed it the first time while hiking up to the rock formation known as the Siamese Twins. Luckily, they caught my eye on the trip back to the car. Another example of those small intricacies that we tend to rush by without truly examining their beauty. I almost missed this one.
I attempted to figure out what type of flowers these are, but had no luck. Let me know if you recognize them.
